In the opera-ballet Merveille (Wonder), the dancer’s body allows the singer’s voice to ‘speak’ for itself, in all possible positions. Counterpoints of polyphonies are transformed into choreographic suites, in a danced-sungfilmed rhapsody, at once experimental, virtuoso and ludic.

Pierre Rigal began by staging constraints on the body, with his solo Press. More recently he has created pieces with Korean dancers and with the dancers of the Paris Opera National Ballet. He also created several commissions for the festival Suresnes Cités Danse.
