Petrushka is still one of the most popular works in ballet repertoire. Against the backdrop of a carnival, three puppets are involved in a love story, exacerbating human feelings. Hervé Chaussard pinpoints the influences that are shaping tomorrow’s society, and those of today. Techno music brings out Stravinsky’s score and the carnival soon turns into a rave party.

Hervé Chaussard has been a longtime performer with Angelin Preljocaj, Sasha Waltz, and Emanuel Gat. In 2011, he founded the company The Will. He was associate artist with Ballet Preljocaj from 2016 to 2018.
