The essence of the couple – its soul and its body – is here laid bare with modesty and vigor. The nonpareil Daniel Léveillé offers a dazzling fest of feats and emotions. Attraction, rejection, indifference, desire, tenderness or violence are tied together in these six dancer duos.

Daniel Léveillé –one of the originators of contemporary dance in Quebec – showcases the performers’ presence and has used nudity as a poetic but never provoking metaphor. With
Solitudes solo in 2012 and Solitudes duo created subsequently, he deviates (slightly) from his natural inclination.
