The Ballet de Lorraine has put together a four act programme for refflection. First the volcanic intensity of Broken Man by Stephen Petronio, a hallucinating spectacle of a mutilated body. Then Two by russell maliphant, a race against darkness. Myths and legends appear, thanks to a homage to Joan of Arc in Duo de L’héroïne, by claude Brumachon, and a notorious work, La Stravaganza by Angelin Preljocaj.

Since1978, the Ballet de Lorraine has set out to encourage creation by producing ballets by many well-known choreographers as well as young talent.
