Fabulous beasts, enchanted creatures, a tree illuminated for adventures as would befit a Lewis Carroll tale… such is the dream-like imagination of the choreographer Carolyn Carlson in Les rêves de Karabine Klaxon.

Five dancers on the stage take part in all kinds of fantasies, wearing the most extravagant costumes to superb magical effect. The work, enriched by the many props created by Gilles Nicolas, and carried by the musical explosions of Jalalu-Kalvert Nelson, does not hold back on visual effects. A major figure in contemporary dance and always striving for poetry, Carolyn Carlson currently directs the National Choreographic Center of Roubaix Nord-Pas de Calais.
