MICHEL KELEMENIS
Kelemenis & Cie
Aléa, Viiiiite, TATTOO

Risk, Quiiiiick, TATTOO celebrate the choreographic style of Michel Kelemenis and the range of the score by the musician and “ethnologist of urban sound”, Christian Zanési. This is an example of the individuality of three pieces conceived more as danced exercises in style, three stages of what Kelemenis identifies under the proposed title, The Electroaudiocycle (L’électroacoucycle). The 1st act has many perspectives, the 2nd is a danced response to a sound mix, while the 3rd act is a rendition of body mutation.

Michel Kelemenis founded his company, Kelemenis & Co, in 1987. It has been based in Marseille since 1989 and more than fifty works have been created and performed since then.
